Race day info
The Rocky Point Triathlon is hosted at the BEAUTIFUL Las Palomas Resort and Spa. It is a gated resort, so all athletes and spectators will be required to have athlete or guest wristbands which can be acquired at packet pick up on Friday April 28th.

AID STATIONS
There are no Bike Aide Stations. There are two water stations on the run course with bottles of water at each station.
POST RACE FOOD
Athletes will be able to enjoy a post race buffet of chips, salsa, quesadillas... For fun hydration, adult participants will also get free ice-cold TECATE beer at the finish line.

Due to limited wifi, we will not have live race tracking but you will be able to check your results online
WHERE TO PARK IF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS ARE NOT STAYING AT LAS PALOMAS
All non-guests of Las Palomas will be asked to park at the golf course parking lot as you pull in. Non-guests will be allowed to be on the race areas of the resort as long as they wear the provided bracelet. Non-guests are not allowed to bring in food, beverage, or coolers into the resort.
ARE THERE ANY RESTAURANTS OPEN ON RACE DAY MORNING?
YES! EXCELLENT resort restaurants (Citrón and La María) are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Beach Bar at Phase 1, also serves food and a variety of yummy cocktails... Check at the front desk for exact hours of operation... Room service is also available!
BAG DROP
There will not be a bag drop available. Please have a plan for a spectator to watch your belongings or leave it in transition next to your bike.
WEATHER POLICY
The Rocky Point Triathlon reserves the right to delay, move, change or cancel the event due to weather. High winds are always a real possibility on The Sea of Cortez. If we have high waves, we will either shorten or cancel the swim portion of the triathlon. ​
REFUND POLICY
We have a no refund and no deferral policy. We will only allow for deferrals if a global pandemic that shuts down the world for two years...but what are the chances of that happening? You can transfer your registration to another athlete. ​​
